Client Code of Conduct

Professional Certified Massage Therapy Practice

To ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all clients and therapists, we ask that all clients adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

1. Respect and Professionalism

  • Clients must treat all staff and therapists with courtesy, dignity, and respect.

  • Inappropriate, suggestive, or sexual comments, jokes, or behavior will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the session and possible banning from the premises.

2. Health and Hygiene

  • Clients are expected to maintain personal hygiene before appointments.
  • Please reschedule your session if you are experiencing symptoms of illness (e.g., fever, cough, contagious skin conditions).
  • Disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or allergies that may affect your treatment.

3. Communication and Consent

  • Clients are encouraged to communicate openly about their comfort, pressure preferences, and any discomfort during the session.
  • Informed consent is required before any treatment begins. Clients may withdraw consent and end the session at any time.
  • Therapists will explain the treatment plan and obtain verbal agreement before proceeding.

4. Boundaries and Privacy

  • Clients must remain appropriately draped at all times. Only the area being worked on will be undraped.
  • Touching the therapist is not permitted unless necessary for safety or assistance.
  • Respect the therapist’s professional boundaries and privacy.

5. Punctuality and Cancellations

  • Please arrive on time, 5-10 minutes before session start time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in termination of services.

6. Payment and Gratuity

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.
  • Gratuities are appreciated but never expected. Please ask if you are unsure about tipping etiquette.

7. Zero Tolerance Policy

  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or violation of this Code of Conduct will result in immediate termination of the session and may be reported to authorities if necessary.
